Against the bitterness

 As you grow

You hurt people 

And you are hurt by them

They don’t intend 

To hurt

Neither do you

It’s just about

Self protection 

Which I don’t forgive

Neither to myself

Obviously, nor to others

And the 

Dragons of life

Are sniffing behind my back

Close the doors

Make the walls 

Isolate 

Annihilate 

Yet,

In my solitude

I see the innocent being 

The child who wants to play and dance 

And I see the same in others too

I stand up

Look deep in the eyes

Bone deep 

And say hi to the child

In you 

From the child

In me
