Along the shore
I glanced over the sea
And the colours
Blue
Entered deep in my heart
As if my heart was deep enough
To contain the ocean
And I looked at the sky
Blue, white clouds and the orange sun about to set
As I looked around the sands, the trees
There was this presence
The colours of everything signified
It’s unique presence in our lives
I was sitting on the beach
And the colours darkened gradually
As if time
Is nothing but change of colours
And every moment
Simply a unique canvas
And I saw the wick of a candle
Burning
And inspiring poets for generations
As if the colours get tied so deeply
With the act of burning
The hairs that became grey as one aged
And the radiance of the youth
Every natural colour was alive
Can’t help but notice human’s desire to paint
The tables
And the pixels in the phone
Somehow human’s effort despite all it’s brilliance
Fell flat
Like a musician who had a bad day
I guess it needed the soul of an artist
To give some life
To colours humans paint
